The Cooperating Community integrates major universities and national and international organizations, public and private, that support and recognize the research and development of products and processes of Factoria Quinoa and its Colombian fair trade model that currently has an endorsement of the President of the Republic of Colombia, in 2011 won the contest “Bionegocios comunitarios” for their efforts to rescue the Quinoa in the department of Boyacá. In 2012 the Unreasonable Institute of the United States selected Factoria Quinoa as one of 46 projects that will improve the world, chosen to be the only project of Colombia, among many other recognitions.
